The Amazing Spider-man 2 - 3D Print Files/Pattern - FREE

On another note, the print arrived Friday! I got it printed by a Citrus Rain (Since I'm in the UK otherwise I would've gone FOD). The quality is great, although I didn't do any sample prints before shelling out for the biggy which I wish I had since its a bit dark. This photo doesn't actually show the true colours too well. I'll share another post when its all done.
Great print i wouldn't worry about the suit being too dark it will stretch and look a little lighter. Did you do any color editing to the file?

Nope. No editing done, I was happy with the colour on the file, the printer must handle it slightly differently when it dye subs the lycra or something. I still like it, but for my next one ill boost the lightness and saturation to compensate. I did do some stretch tests and it does make it lighter (slightly), but the red/crimson is more towards a brown.

Question has probably been asked a billion times, but I'm obviously missing it :l

When I upload the file to FOD, do I have to save as a JPEG and upload that? (I'm 6' so I don't need to resize the file)

Also, how many continuous yards of fabric do I need? Being an Aussie makes the imperial system hard on my brain, haha.

If you are adjusting the .psd and you are ready to upload, just convert it to CMYK and then save it as a .jpg. That's it!
It should come up to 2.5 yards...http://tiny.cc/tasm2guide

Hey everybody!

So im new to theRPF, and i wanted to make this suit! Ive done the web shooters, with after alot of thinking and wiring , fire small grapple like projections that are electromagnetic and stick to objects! Im working on the ASM1 suit, and ive made the lenses, but i cant find any files for the first one? It seems everyone is hyped on the second one. My question is are there any files (pref free) that are around? Im a newbie in this form of cosplay, ive done alot of pepakura but i want to make the ASM1 suit so any suggestions?

Hi ken, I repeatedly have been having problems printing the top of the faceshell. I have put it in netfabb to repair any issues it has but everything else print fine except for that piece where the holes are. the support material creates fine until it gets to that part and then it becomes very messy and thin (unuseable). any thoughts? this is the only file I have had issues printing. thanks

Hey guys,

I'm new to this forum and pretty much find that pattern making awesome, since this weekend I've just found out that it even exists :D
However I'm a bit confused. I was reading page after page to find the latest or final pattern psb. I'm from Germany and though I think my english is pretty ok, I sometimes have problems figuring out what's the point on some of the pages in this thread.

Can someone maybe give me a hint wich ones actually are the latest printable psb-files for the TASM2 suit? :)

Thanks for any effords!

Ken usually updates the first page of this thread and replaces the old files with new ones whenever he has time

Not sure which of the 6 versions yo mean.... I probably put the CMYK values on the bottom.... if you can get that just change them on the latest psd.

Ah, I'm finally done (sort of) with my suit. This is what it ended up looking like: Spidey suit 0.1.jpgSpidey suit 1.0; sitting.jpg

I sew it myself but I didn't paint the webbing or the spider (I might add that in the future). I also ended up not using a face shell so I just glued the lenses to the mask, but I think it looks good without. When looking at the suit from the movie I noticed two things: The color on my suit is a little to dark and the lenses are to small and should be more round (I used the eye frames from this link: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B_s...it?usp=sharing). But apart from those things I think it looks great and I'm very happy with the result. So thanks Kenlandrum for making this amazing file and helping out so much :)
