Hey all!

Update on my second suit! I used Ken's newest pattern and I am going to attempt urethane webbing! *fingers crossed* this suit will be for SDCC and i hope with the announcement of a new Spidey that it will get some good attention!

here is my altered Ken's pattern, colors used are:

RED: a61e2f
BLUE: 1e2554

Cheers!

what about the bricks on the blue you gonna paint those also???I hate the matte black puffy paint by tulip that **** cracked everywhere!!!!I am gonna have to repaint a entire suit!!!! people say don't stretch the fabric.....
to me bs...cause if it was painted stretched .it should be able to take a bit of stretching when you put it on... anyway just my rambling...

I'm not sure about it just yet. If they look good on the print i may just say screw it and leave it alone. but who knows i might give it a try.

For the new Photoshop users, here is how you can easily make guide lines in case you decide to go "sans webbing" because you want to glue something on or paint them with puff...

Open the psd file, locate the webbing layers and...

When doing this, the contract tool changes absolutely nothing....any ideas on what's up?

Thanks!

Nevermind, got it figured out! I'm working on a separate mask pattern both with webs and with just the guide lines since the mask pattern that was posted somewhere seemed too bright. Another one might be floating out there somewhere already, but I'm using it as a learning tool too, so hopefully someone else can benefit from it as well.

Ken, fantastic work here. Are you able to resize to someone that has size 8 feet or can someone assist here? Thanks

Thanks.

Sizing these should be a snap. Here is how you do it...
First, remember that the original size 12 US file measures 11.25" (toe to heel)
Look up your size on this chart:
footsize.jpg

Do the math OR use a handy proportional wheel calculator:
(Like the one here) http://www.knightprinting.com/help/tools.php
...and plug in your numbers to determine how much to reduce the file.

(EXAMPLE)
Proportion.jpg

So in your case the reduction is 88.333%
Open the files with netfabb (free software) and reduce their sizes.

enjoy!
