The Amazing Spider-man 2 - 3D Print Files/Pattern - FREE

the tip is more forgiving then using the bottle alone in my opinion...i only painted one tasm1 suit... so my experience is limited...i tried doing it your way and the flow is not easy to keep consistent plus i was uisng the full size bottles... the tips were a needed tool...

Ok :)
And its always better to get better equipment.

I used the small bottles (not really able to order the big ones here) so i needed alot.
I guess for the webbing u need around 4, back spider 1 and blue bricks id say 5-6 of the 4oz bottles.

But that is just a guess ^^ i didnt count my amount of small bottles.

Does anybody have ever puffpainted a sewn suit? Ill receive mine already sewn.. But im asking if i did a big mistake... How about doing this on a mannequin? Or maybe a mannequin made with ducktape as some guys did for their ironman?

You can do it that way, or try to stretch it and hold it in place that way and apply the puff paint.
As long as the suit is stretched you'll be alright.

they cost me £20 as I'm from uk, price varies I believe, mine were from shapeways I was so desperate to have them printed cause they looked so damn fine !! I can't stop looking at them ahhhh !!!

Thanks for the info. That price doesn't sound bad at all. I think it's reasonable given how beautiful they look. I can't wait to see these after you paint them.

They are a masterpiece, yes I'll keep you updated man, the price is so worth it, go for polished if you so desire but it's just as good with the grainy version

I guess it's time to get out of my foam armor :lol

My local printer sent me this yesterday, although the color isn't accurate as what I expected :confused I really don't know why but this will work for me since this will be my prototype of Ken's pattern :) Really happy with it.

Will work on this by the end of the week.

@ aron

Hey guys sorry I haven't updated in a while but I have some progress pics to share , I have finally finished the puff paint and after making the tough decision I decided to go over the blue brick pattern with a metallic silver marker, it worked out really well and isn't too metallic but the silver is definately more enhancedView attachment 331667View attachment 331668View attachment 331669View attachment 331670View attachment 331671 now .. let me know what you think

maybe metallic silver is more accurate than blue, what do u think?

Hey guys did anyone use matte black on their suite? I wonder how it looks like, is it reflecting the light like the movie suite?

Kens file with TJack face shell and lens combo.

It's actually a lot darker than the photo shows so I plan on getting another one printed in the future. I want to edit the webs to be a little thinner maybe? And brighten up the colours a bit.
I apologise for not getting mask in the centre, I didn't realise it was off slightly until I had the photo on screen and I was out of the suit -_-
Also kind of bummed about the webs not lining up in places, I need to make that more clear with the seamstress next time.

Overall though, great pattern I can't thank Ken enough for making it available :)
