Nice job Aron, got any experience with invisible zippers?

They r tricky as hell. Lol. Actually they r ok. Just need the foot for ur machine.
When u strech the fabric its difficult to make the lines match.

Here is a pic of invisible zipper without stretching the fabric.

This i sewed with stretching cause i wanted to install a 40cm zipper

With the stretching i needed a long time to get it done :D

Here's what I got going guys. Added magnets and foam to my shell (and sanded down the forehead due to my printer screwing up that section) and i finished my lenses. I am changing the angle of the lenses slightly so i am currently cutting a new area for the lenses to fall into that hopefully will not be to noticable and will help everything fit together perfectly.

Nice npoulos! Did you have to do any extra work on those lenses? Or is that all from the file?

Haha I'm not going anywhere near mine, I don't even have a sewing machine for a start... I might get our local seamstress to do it... I just don't have many instructions on how to sew it.... Does anyone know of instructions (I know there are different methods you guys want when it means getting in and out of it (some want U-Zippers etc)), but any of those are okay with me as long as there are good instructions on it!

The frames are from the file the actual lenses I got some clear casting resin and poured it into a square sheet then cut it and glued it to the lens frames before it was completely cured. Then I just added some white mesh like fabric to the back of it all

Idk how tjack does it, but he has like a plastic curve on his lenses to make it very movie accurate... Does anyone happen to know how to do that?

How well does anti fog spray work. I've got a pair of Tjack lenses coming and I was thinking of using my own mesh without plastic cover so it wouldn't fog.

How do you vaccum form

Well you would need a vacuform machine, or access to one at like hammer space or something, then you just need something that fits the shape you want, and it gets vacuformed over it. It heats up the plastic to where it's soft, the plastic gets placed over the piece that's in the form you want, and the air is sucked out, to make it take that form, and it will stay that way once it is cool.

Ok thanks! Do you know though where the thread is or what it's called because I can't find it. Thanks again

I found a guy with a 3D printer near me, I sent him the link to the faceshell's .stl file and he said "The scale of the .stl files is incorrect:

http://puu.sh/8ElYy.jpg". What do I do?
