The Abyss Remastered

just went to Amazon they are out of stock as well, except from a scalper for 119.00

I ordered True Lies at the same time and both were delivered Sunday

True lies is in stock as of this post at Amazon

I see one on Amazon for $120. But looks like its just a seller on Amazon and not an actual store of any kind.
So thats probably a ripoff, but I don't even know the price of these 4k ultra bluray disc.
24.96 was what I paid on Amazon

Go figure the Mouse screws up again

There are all sorts of copies for cheap coming from china on the bay right now

If Disney has any sense they are burning copies right now but we are talking about Disney so……

For anyany that has seen it, did they redo any of the old effects?
Just a bit curious on what they did enhance or change, becides recoloring it.

While Abyss looks great over the DVD.

I really don't get why they haven't released The Terminator in 2160p yet. It's been out in the wild for years. And it is definitely an upgrade compared to the blu-ray:

Totally missed your post here...but yeah, the Abyss looks really nice.
The Terminator comparison....that both from official sources?
That UHD part looks SO completely washed out. Its one thing to clean up a picture, but to overexspose it in post like that does not look good.
I can't believe Cameron, who is very particular about things like that, could ever let that pass.

UHD needs to be played with specific software/hardware to display as intended. Who knows if that screencap was taken properly.

I have a rip of a UHD 4K Temple of Doom, re-encoded to 1080 to play on my equipment, and it's washed out all to hell. I had to crank up my set's chroma all the way. I don't think the colors really look like that on the right gear.
