Saw it last night since it was my favorite tv show as a child. It wasent as bad as I thought. It could have been better, some of the cg and the plot was over the top, but hell the show was over the top. Thought it definatly had that blu-Ray and rewatch over and over capibility. It could have been a lot worse. Rampage did better than I thought as well as the guy from D9. Stick arround till after the credits.

Crap, was there something after the credits? I enjoyed it much more than I thought I would. Yeah, it was over the top, but was a lot of fun. Sharlto Copley is great.

Oh, and a blink and you'll miss it moment that was awesome is that not only is Dirk Benedict and Dwight Shultz making cameos in it, but so is Reginald Barclay.

I saw it in a relitivly empty theatre, adn felt . .well . .odd as I was the only one laughing a bits here and there. Did love the demise of the truck, and the use of the chromed weapons in the intro. Definatly felt like watching an episode :)

I also liked the little gags and jokes that were thrown in and absolutly LOVED how over-the-top it was. Liked the Ghandi bit too. Overall, well frickin done. Will be seeing it on Sunday again with girlfriend, who turns out, was a huge fan back in the day. Who knew?

You're talking about a movie about a TV show that aired for what? 4-5 years? 80-120 episodes somewhere. In each episode, both sides fought it out with military grade weapons and I don't think anyone died during the entire run of the show in one of the gunfights. On top of that, I don't know that anyone ever got shot.

Face going berserk firing the machine gun on the top of the tank while falling from 15,000 feet or so seemed way out of sync with the show though. That's the only bit i've seen so far that bugs me. He was mainly the con-man of the group.

I enjoyed it more than I thought I would. I missed seeing Dwight and Dirk, but I caught the Reginald Barclay reference.

That movie was a blast...And to be completely honest, I thought it stayed pretty true to the original vibe of the show.

Sure I could have done without some of the CG bits...But I am finally coming to grips with the fact that that's just going to happen in today's action films. And if ANY film should have over-the-top special effects, the A-Team should.

"You spin me right round baby, right round..."

I had a grin on my face for the entire film.

I had mixed thoughts, but I did think the CGI was way over the top. I was surprised at how good the BA character and actor was, I thought he would be the weak link.

When I heard about this, I wanted to cry.

When I saw the first photo, a part of my childhood died.

Just came back from seeing the movie....

What a fun and thoroughly entertaining ride! I can't believe I am saying that, but it was! I left with a smile on my face and while this movie won't win any awards and could be nit-picked to death, overall, it was one of the most fun movies I have seen in a long time! Sharlto Copley definitely stole the show but surprisingly everyone held up extremely well, and while I was so afraid they would all come off as hacked caricatures, I think they held up pretty well.

It was great over-the-top fun! Just like the TV show. unfortunately I didn't stay until the end credits so I don't know what was there. My only gripe was the Hawaii Mars (the big red & white four-engine flying boat) was in the movie for only two quick scenes. It's a waterbomber that's headquartered here in BC with its sister plane the Philippine Mars. I grew up near their base at Sproat Lake and one of my parents' neighbors flew the plane for the movie. It was great to see it on screen but apparently there was more planned - it was supposed to get blown-up and it didn't - must be a cut scene. Fun seeing the sites around Vancouver and Howe Sound and around Aschroft and Cache Creek. Want to see it again. Hope there is a sequel.

Here's a clip on Youtube from the Hawaii Mars when they were filming:

I missed Dwight and Dirk's cameos but not from a lack of paying attention, I guess I looked so hard I over looked.....I can't believe I didn't stay till after the credits....oh well I guess they're gonna get another $5 of mine, I gotta see it again

Gen. Fulbright was killed. Both Murdock and Face were shot and BA was shot Pre-episode once. There was a bad guy killed in series 5. That's it.

Slightly looking forward to the movie now thanks to you guys. :)

:)

Actually one more, a mobster was killed in the 1st season after being tossed out of a window in The Rabbit That Ate Las Vegas.

Saw it today, and totally enjoyed it. Missed the cameos though. Anyone care to use the spoiler tags and clue us in to when they appeared?

Post credits scene:

Face is about to get into another tanning bed, and Dirk Benedict is just leaving one. Face asks what his tanning secret is, and Dirk tells him to "never mess with the face" or something like that.

Nearby, Murdock is about to get electroshock therapy. His doctor is Dwight Schultz, who says something about Murdock really being nuts. They flip the switch, and after a second or so the whole room goes black from a blown fuse or something. Murdock is lying on the table and says "I think I felt something."

Loved it.:love

On top of that it was nice to see the Top Cow name at the start of the film. We finalized that deal as officially "in the works" back in last 2000. Sure took awhile to hit the screen.:unsure It did help get me to meet Jessica Biel a few times at the studio early in the process, but sadly no one else, and I left the company before they started filming the movie so I could not sidestep my way onto the set.
