...and don't forget your booties 'cause it's cooooold out there today.

Guess 6 more weeks of winter! But not for us where we are.... almost 80 by mid-week coming up! Poor Phil - he only has a 40% accuracy rate. LOL!

So, I went out today and it was frippin cold, nasty feeling like snow in the air. All my senses tell me that winter is here to stay until approximately June of 2034. HOWEVER, the clouds were so thick that there wasn't even a possibility of casting a shadow so according to the rules we have just a few more weeks of winter.

Still funny, a year later.....

I stand here a gloating groundhog. I was honest and explained that no shadow was seen, mainly due to the scary thick one piece horizon to horizon cloud cover present. But, as any good ground hog knows, it isn't the shadow, although in other genre ONLY THE SHADOW KNOWS..... but I digress. So, my feeling that winter was far from over was justified in less than 24 hours. It just started snowing for the first time this winter at my house.

One of my favorite comedies of all time!

1) It's basically a truly PG, "clean" film
2) Anesthesiologist I work with knows "Nancy's" brother IRL
3) It's Bill Murray being Bill Murray, while pushing the boundaries of Bill Murray-ness, but without crossing the line. By the end of the film, you root for his character.
4) I had a crush on Andie. The fact that she grew up in Gaffney, SC made it even sweeter.

Classic beauty. The kind of face that gets prettier the closer you look. She could pass at a distance and look like anyone but up close you start to breath a bit slower. She never even once left character, to the point that you don't notice her superb performance because you don't have any 4th wall moments. She never takes you out of the film even when the script is at insanity level talking to the undying Bill Murray but without the ability to believe him.
