TFA Luke Skywalker....Mikes Build

I'm a Busy GP whom got into Cosplay at Cons 3 years ago to spend time with the Grandkids, Its been a blast....Ive been Thor(retired)....I'm Starlord Long Trench.....Now I'm doing my Luke version....First off I'm making the belt,buckle and pouch....Finishing up my outfit (cotton,wool,linen)....Boots by Bearpaw with a little color added.....Graflex Lightsaber for now fully operational.....Growing my Beard for a wail and adding a full styled wig for the head...Don't have much hair up there...Will be attempting to make the Robotic hand by adding fishing line,paint and aluminum sheeting to a Black Rayon glove.....Well just have to see how it comes out.......will be adding pictures in a few days.....

...Being fitted for my Human hair wig Friday then cut and style.....will post pics.....for mow a few more....Boots and Belt....Boots are bearpaw, may add a little taupe color,made the belt from Tandy Leather, Wannawanaga clip buckle blank,paint and scuff...

WizardWorld Sacramento ...... Had fun lots of great outfits will post pictures.... Hung out in the Hyatt Bar will William Shatner, Sebastian Stan and Ray Parks.... Talked to Haylee Ateell in the elevator so cool got autographs and got person... Much easier when outside the Con....

Any suggestions ...........hoping to go to Britex in San Fransico,Ca to find the exact Fabric for the cloak though....found it at 40.00 a yard....Yuck!....but will make the drop....

Where did you get your buckle from? That, other than the shoes, is the piece I am having the hardest time finding. I don't have a 3D printer and as all my other ideas have not really panned out.

....got the Metal buckle from Tandy leather....shaped it and painted it with satin black and silver rub n buff then sanded with steel wool to obtain the ageing affect.....

Will update pictures in a week or so....found a pretty nice match of the fabric of the cloak....using a Camel colored Hemp weave fabric found at Calico Corners for sofa and drapes...a lot heavier so that it should drape and flow better than a lighter linen....medium linen still not heavy enough....
