Testors Red Putty - do they still sell it?

I switched as well, but I did really like the stuff and come to think of it I have not seen any for the last couple of years (course I wasn't looking, but still...)

Same stuff. You should be able to find it at an auto parts store.
RPM Industries makes it.

Where do you find the Bondo Spot Putty? I haven't seen it anywhere in Chicago. KK

Wal-Mart has carried it in the last few states I have lived in (California, Montana, Alabama, Florida, Oregon & Washington) so you would think they would have it at them all.:thumbsup It is in the automotive department.:)

You can get the glazing putty at most auto parts stores. it goes by glazing putty, spot filler, and a couple of others. Its used for little dings in the body work of cars - stuff that's too small to mix up a batch of real bondo... Its also a LOT softer then real bondo. Its like $3 for a pretty sizable tube the last time I bought it... I bought 3 ;)

It's just like the Testors tube. In fact, I once had both on my bench and after closer examination of the 'parent' company (RPM) they were indeed the same stuff. The spot putty was a lot cheaper than the Testors putty.

Be careful on the first few squeezes from the tube. Sometimes there's some watery "not-putty" that can come flying out, ruining a brand new pair of jeans! You can dump it out and get to the good stuff.

"not-putty" :lol Yeah I experienced that, but luckily just on the bench.
