Terminator Makeup Appliance Options?

Hey fellas - I'm wondering, what's out there for Terminator makeup appliances? I know the mass-produced option with the plastic skull and fake flesh; I also know how poorly it works. Is there something with skull and skin as a one-piece casting - perhaps in silicone? Ideally it will be T2 styled, with the eye showing... Also, it'd be great if what you can see of the skull underneath actually looked like Winston's skull. The piece on eBay sold by Reelmagik or whatever seems like a decent prosthetic, but I don't like the skull sculpt much. I'd rather have it be as thin as possible, with painted-in depth, rather than sculpted depth that's going to protrude from the face.

I know there are a lot of idealistic features listed above, but I figure it's better to start with the wish-list and work away from it!

One last question - if I sculpt one myself, could anyone here cast it as a silicone or foam prosthetic for me?

Thanks for your time!

I've toyed around with making a Terminator prosthetic for myself consisting of a thin plastic underskull with foam skin on top. But the problem with having a widely available piece is that if you want it to have the proper look and not protrude too much, it really does have to be made specifically for your face. Differences in brow and cheek size can cause the entire underskull to shift and jut out.

If you're doing a pure silicone piece, it seems the problem would be alleviated, but how realistic could the metallic finish be on that? I haven't seen much in the way of metallic silicone, though, so it may look really good. But the stretch could interfere with lighting options...

You could try getting one of those vinyl Terminator skull models sold on eBay all the time, paint it, cut it up and use liquid latex and facial makeup to hide the edges.
Being formed in vinyl, it should be sturdy and have a thin wall. Those skulls on eBay though are usually a bit on the small side, but if you are going to cut it up, it won't seem so bad.

Yeah honestly as said before the bast way is to cast your face and mould on top of that, cast it off and pull your prosthetic so it fits your face completely.
I just finished a comedian domino eye mask,
and to be sure it fit my face exactly I got a mate to lifecast my face and then I moulded on top of the positive, just to be sure it would fit me.
Good Luck
