Terminator: Genisys (Post-release)

WOW great likeness :)
I even thought the guy that played Robocop in the 2014 film looked more like Kyle Reese than the guy the cast.
I agree!... Much better!

But unlike the makers of previous "fanfilms" like Salvation us fans respect what Cameron created ;)
Very true!... Why can't someone who truly understands and appreciates the first 2 films be involved in creating the Terminator sequel the fans deserve?
They need a 'True' fan like you said. Not just some writer and director who rehashes the wrong things and doesn't develop a True Cameronesque Future in all it's dark, fantastic glory!

It's basically like Pepsi buying Coca-Cola only to change the logo, change the taste and everything else, but still call it "Coca-Cola original".

I have no problem with Cameron working on "Avatars"..... 2, 3 and 4. None what so ever. Just would be nice if he would be the one helming his franchise. Either by making more Terminator films, or simply doing nothing with it. "Nothing" is better than a smelly old diaper. Sure parts of that diaper is still fine, but that smelly part of it sort of ruin even the parts that are fine. Terminator Genitals :sick

One reason (maybe) why I loved Avatar was because I have never seen Dances with Wolves, or Pocahontas for that matter. Oh well.

believe me, I LOVED Avatar too! ... Just a shame what's happened to his Terminator franchise in his absence... I guess that's why he's doing the rest of the Avatars himself, so no one 'stinks' it up. ... He gets the rights back to Terminator in a few years, right? ... I'm hoping he rights the ship. But he may just lease them out again.

2019, the rights go back where they belong :D

WOW that still leaves almost 4 years for others to mess it up.

I am actually looking forward to the Blu-ray. I think it will be eye/ear candy, but will it be a serious competitor for Mad Max - Fury Road? This gets lots of playtime in my cinema because it is pure eye/ear candy.

This either needs to die all together... Or get a super revival to live again. All this hope for a new trilogy makes me want to make a fanfic and know that it will come full circle and end the entire thing. The future is not set, so I guess they can keep shooting us sequels and such for the sole purpose of them saying we dont actually know what happens in the future and want to make more films lol.

James Cameron liked this movie though so that makes his choices questionable lol. Honestly graphically the movie wasn't bad, it's nice seeing terminators moving more like they do in the games and comics with human motions though that T1 Arnie's endo moved like a stop motion puppet for a bit for some reason in my mind. Sadly the storyline didn't hold up but at least the FX are there to enjoy. And this one had a proper Terminator theme in the soundtrack unlike the last few lol

I personally really like the movie, and it was great to have a few "flashback" from the 2 first ones. Also, it was pretty gratifying to finally see them "saving the world", (for once)... Even though, I was not sure of the small clip at the very end, that probably mean there will be a sequel of that one, and to be honest, I was hoping it would be the last one.

If they weren't so expensive to make I'd say they could probably do direct to video and do well like the Resident Evil movies. Hollywood still relies too much on box office even though attendance is always down, the real money is on DVD and streaming. If they offered these things at the same time as the theater they'd make more money.

um this one used the theme a tiny bit more, counting the intro. Otherwise it used it as much as T3 did... which was for the credits only. This turd has zero percent verisimilitude, of everything Cameron established.

Cameron liked this film, yeah they claimed that with both T3 and Salvation, which turned out to be BS but this time he said it himself. Not sure if he was high or paid off :lol

The series is a duology. END OF STORY.

End of story? I think you mean:
