This is a very awesome project. If you want a chrome surface that is tough and can be touched all day you need to google Killer Chrome. I have used this stuff and it really works great.

I looked around for the same brand you used but no luck. Gonna try a Krylon chrome spray paint. You've set the bar pretty hi with this paint job...gonna be tough to come close.

Check the one alphatech said go to alsacorp.com, but its pricey, i dont know if krylon would look like alclad, you can search for spaxtiz its the same as alclad

Hey J, if you have to use a cheap rattle can, i recommend rustoleum chrome spray. it looks more chrome than krylon.
this mask was sprayed with rustoleum

I use any kind of Black as a base color, EPIC Bio by the way lol

can't remember what i used then, most likely grey or brown primer then the rustoleum. now that i have watched the stan winston metallic painting vid, i will be using gloss black under the chrome. but as far as cheap rattle cans, i have found rustoleum to be the best shine.

For a great shine before putting the chrome on, gloss black, then gloss clear, then T-cut black colour fast polish. Looks amazing. And as far as rattle cans go, I found the Krylon aluminium to be far better than their chrome, bizarrely.
