Ten Nunb Sullustan Breathing Mask

It was suggested I post this question here. I'm trying to find what it is and possibly source parts to make the breathing mask Ten Nunb wore during the Home One briefing room seen in EP6.

The standard B-Wing pilots have a single hose from the chest box. Ten Nunb, had two hoses. After looking at screen shots I found Ten has a breathing mask that is dangling around his neck and hanging on his left side. IE the second hose. Every scene in the film with Ten Nunb has that mask hanging in the same spot.

After researching found pictures of the mask being worn that didn't appear in the film. Showing the details of it.

Does anybody have any idea what it was made out of or where one might find the parts to make it? The hose is easy, the leather strap is easy, the mask itself is where i'm at a loss.

Hi there. I saw that this post was a few years old. Did you happen to have any luck discovering the design of the oxygen mask? I have been searching far and wide myself and have had no luck. It is so difficult to find a clean, well lit pic.
Thanks
Rob Williams

You know… I need noticed the mask… he’s not wearing in the falcon correct?

I’m sorry, I can’t help myself.

His mask (and costume itself) looks to be different in various pics.
Originally I believe the creation of the character of Ten Numb was done to make up for the change in costume. Originally designed to be Nien. In his first appearance he is with the B wing box and mask. later he is seen in the background of Han and Landon Falcon discussions in Falcon vest. He is in the Falcon with the vest again. then at the Ewok celebration he is back in a the B wing bomber outfit.
Every time I see pics of him (whether Polaroid costume pics), cards, production shots, behind the scenes deleted puppeteer scenes, costume display pieces, production paintings...either the box changes, the colour of his suit changes or even the mask looks different.

All these inconsistencies just kind of lead me to the fact that he is such a small character and details were not a big concern, except to nerds like us...lol
I can go deep into detail about the changes...lol

Picture 1 - close up of Puppeteers trying out Nien. I noticed the straps are connected to what looks like 2 horizontal tubes that seems to be connected to the alligator clip attached to the breathing mask. slightly different and shorter from the side profile of Ten (white) in the original post

Picture 2 - close up of actual on-set shot (staged photo of the heroes on Home one meeting room). That box is found and sold at HeroTecx in Germany. Mask hard to see but looks collapsible on the sides.

Picture 3 - another puppeteer shot from the opposite side.

Picture 4 - a photo that I saw in another post about the details of this helmet (unsure of its purpose or origin of helmet...if you know where it is from that would be helpful).

Picture 5 - polaroid of the costume. Mask hard to see, but still collapsible.

Picture 6 - Ten Nunb action figure. I RARELY use figures as references. But sometimes it at least gives direction.

I decided to just bite the stick and kitbash an oxygen mask the best way I could. It is not accurate but inspired by the one in the movie.
Materials: foam, headphone wires, a belt, alligator clips, and a cup from an old hockey jock strap (the smell of success). Fingers crossed it is approved for the Rebel Legion.
