Still a workin' on the hair a bit. If Lord of the Props could photoshop some eyes ala B. Pitt. I would be so honored.

Re: TDK B. Wayne sculpt

"There is an idea of a Patrick Bateman; some kind of abstraction. But there is no real me: only an entity, something illusory. And though I can hide my cold gaze, and you can shake my hand and feel flesh gripping yours and maybe you can even sense our lifestyles are probably comparable... I simply am not there."

"I have all the characteristics of a human being: blood, flesh, skin, hair; but not a single, clear, identifiable emotion, except for greed and disgust. Something horrible is happening inside of me and I don't know why. My nightly bloodlust has overflown into my days. I feel lethal, on the verge of frenzy. I think my mask of sanity is about to slip."

Great work.

Re: TDK B. Wayne sculpt

Looks great so far, you should be making some changes here and there
and then you nailed him:thumbsup

Allthough, I think it would look more alive with real hair instead of sculpted hair. And then you can use the head in a cowl.

You asked for a pair of photoshoped eyes, well here you go:love
I even added eyebrows as well.

Re: TDK B. Wayne sculpt

ah muchos gracious. I have him bald still. so the silicone skin/punched hair is still an option, but so expensive to do. almost done with TDK on this head as well.

Definitely makes it easier to see the excellent likeness, but it's kinda creepy. Reminds me of those old retouched morgue photos of infamous criminals lying on the slab. :p

Re: TDK B. Wayne sculpt

Man ... what I wouldn't do for half your talent! Bale is looking great. :thumbsup

Re: TDK B. Wayne sculpt

much thanks all. and thanks again to lord of the props for the excellent eyes/eyebrows in photoshop.
The driving force behind doing this was so that I don't have to scupt a TDK cowl on some other head, or lifecast. And then thought what the hey, might as well make a wayne out of it.

Re: TDK B. Wayne sculpt

Its weird - I was just thinking today how strange it was that no one's done him yet... couldnt you even buy a high-end cowl and just put it on the head? Or is there not one accurate enough out there?

Re: TDK B. Wayne sculpt

no. there isn't, and there probaly won't be. And even if there was, the fit probaly wouldn't be worth a darn. Also I want it in foam latex. so bottom line in all this stuff is that to achieve a certain quality it all must be custom made, and tailor made for a perfect fit. No shortcuts.

You know those high-end cowls you're talking about? Bob is the one who makes those ;)

Re: TDK B. Wayne sculpt

Who's Bob? Doody? I wasnt trying to imply anything - I agree sculpting your own (no matter how good of ones are out there) is the best idea :thumbsup

Re: TDK B. Wayne sculpt

I agree with Bjorn to the idea of non hair. whould be perfect for the cowls.

Re: TDK B. Wayne sculpt

Incredible likeness, your talent never ceases to amaze me. :thumbsup

Well let me say that with an excellent sculpt like that, it's really the only way to go. I mean, putting sculpted hair on that would be a bit like putting a walmart radio in a Ferarri.
