This is my version of the Star Trek The Next Generation Science Tricorder, Mark VI B. This was the second version on the show. It has the user interface and overall shape of the Mark VII with the smaller sensor head and hand scanner of the Mark VI (the first season version which I call the Mark VI A)
I modeled the parts in Fusion 360, and made the graphics in Photoshop. The parts were printed on my Anycubic 12k resin printer. I used magnets to hold the hand scanner in the pocket under the sensor head. I'm pretty happy with it. It's by no means perfect, but I think it really looks good.
This version is solid, hence the "Stunt". I am considering make a hollow version for electronics, but that is a bigger project.
Completing this means I have a Mark VII (Previous Build) and a Mark VI B, all that is left is the Mark VI A (First Season). That is more involved as it is totally different, including the body shape.
