TASM2 new zentai suit?

SO here's some more questions..

1. mask.. attached? not attached? How do I attach it and make it invisible?
2. zipper? I'm going to have a seamstress rip out the back zipper and install a Uzipper...

If you want it invisible then you should have a attached mask. If you want to easily get out of your suit you should get unattached. It is very hard to get a seamless look on an unattached mask. I had an idea to do an unattached mask that would appear more seamless but you would need a suit with an attached mask and an extra mask. My idea also has yet to be tested. For the zipper you could do u-zip or you could follow what @Reallifespidey did and do a zipper around the waist to make a shirt and pants

Better fit. Since zentai zone is free for tailoring, you should get the measured suit

I went with the first option, and I am in love with the suit! I bought a cheapy $10 Spider-Man mask from Walmart and removed the inside rubber thing as the face shell. Luckily it fit my head really well so it looked awesome.

i bought the exact same mask, so furious that its a perfect fit everywhere except the bottom is too short, ending at my mouth back to the drawing board

Maybe u could fix this by managing a movable jaw as joelai did with bis own Mask.. Just saying

my suit arrived just this morning, turns out the faceshell wouldn't have worked anyway. The mask is a very snug fit... i must remember if i get another suit to get a zipper in the head lol

Did the same mistake with mine... Went to a local seamstress and she installs an invisible zipper behind the mask for 10$.. Now the faceshell fits better way less stress on fabric! Or... My second option. Was to Cut the actual mask, buy a single hood to make it removable.. As the zipper option was fine to me i kept it like that! Good luck!

Yeah, I've read that you need the zipper. Good thing I already planned for that.

i at least got my hood detachable, i just didn't think about the zipper in my excitement of ordering, i'm actually quite happy with my shape without a shell and the fact that i've figured the process of putting it on without the seams sounding like they're about to bust.
I was lucky actually, i also forgot the crotch zipper but after a quick message they added it for me (yay for easy batroom trips)

do you guys think these will work as shoes? I don't know how easy the top will be to seperate.. and I've not had much luck finding anything local.

Those look good but you might have a better look if you got some kung fu slippers from a local flea market. Those go for about $5 and are more easily able to take apart

I'm at the same spot with mine, I got a pair of knock off Toms and detached the soles which should work fine but the shoes themselves with sewn into the soles (weird) so I can't use them underneath the suit to form a boot shape. I'm considering getting these to use instead or at the very least to wear in the suit itself with the soles on top.

Not happy with how this faceshell looks... 20 bucks down the drain. I guess you get what you pay for. I think I should have gotten the cheaper 10.00 mask.

in hindsight I should have bought the cheaper one, as I had to remove electronics and melt down screw holes in this one.. and yeah just not happy with it.

Yeah any time I talk you can see my jaw protruding from the bottom of the mask. All in all it was totally worth it when I took the black webbing off of the mask so it looks smooth now.
