Yeah alls good mate add me in.

Were off to Riviera Maya hotel Sirenis (spelling is wrong lol) Its about 1 1/2 hours down the coast from Cancun, cant wait.

Awe dude you're gonna love it. We were just there last year. If you feel like getting some exercise in, take the X-treme tour thing. But I really, really recommend Xcaret if you got the time.

Nice job on the progress guys!

El Fett; I don't think I could ever do a detox, I love food to much. Haha.

I hate it too but I can't say it doesn't work. Day 2 = 5 lbs down.

I have never once endorsed a detox diet of any sorts. I think they put excess strain on your body from journal articles I've read. Be careful while you "detox".

I guess what I'm doing is not so much a detox as it is an intermittent fasting, from what I've been reading. I'm still eating a light dinner with plenty of protein and I can have as much veggies as I want through the day. The name is detox protocol but it is not a straight detox as compared to other ones I've been told about. But thanks for your concern :)

Re: TASM Fitness Thread. "Shirts-off" Challenge Starts NOW for May 4th deadline!

intermittent fasting is a great lifestyle i think. plenty of good research out there on it. and perfectly safe when used correctly. people think its some kind of eating disorder but its no different than 3 meals or 6 small meals a day its just your meals are eaten closer together in a smaller feeding window. @el fett keep up the good work, i watch this thread everyday for inspiration

Re: TASM Fitness Thread. "Shirts-off" Challenge Starts NOW for May 4th deadline!

I finally got some squat stands into my "ghetto gym" in the garage, and now I'm really looking forward to killing my legs on Friday.
Will be replacing the usual "light squats" with heavier squats and replacing the usual hack squats with lunges, I already know that I'll want to avoid stairs on Saturday.

So that's day 3 = 6 lbs total so far. Today is the last day I'm drinking that green Juice thank God.

It's not Saturday you're gonna worry about stairs, it is Sunday. Always the second day. D:

Annnddd I am the same way with the idea of a detox diet, I couldn't endorse it as your body naturally does detox anyways and it is just a strain that my body doesn't need. Plus, the weight that one loses, most of it is water weight or food that you ate not so much fat that you want to burn, focusing on the weight, especially if you're relatively fit/thin is a bad idea, I think.

A pound of fat is 3500 calories, you'd need to burn 3500 calories plus whatever you eat that day to burn off 1 lb.

Re: TASM Fitness Thread. "Shirts-off" Challenge Starts NOW for May 4th deadline!

I weigh myself in the mornings and this morning I was 168! WOOT!

Now no more cheat days!

I tend to get the worst DOMS 12-24 hours later, although for some reason I can feel it in my back for longer than any other muscles.

Now you've said it though I hope my legs don't suffer too bad on Sunday, I've got Sunday League Football to play (Soccer to those of you in the US ;))

That's different. I noticed with my friends and myself that the second day is always the worst. I made my friend squat properly and he ended up not being able to kick properly at his TKD match which was the second day after our leg day because his thighs were so sore, haha.

Good luck!

DOM's all depends on the person. Roughly they can come anywhere between 24-72 hours. I myself have had them come as quickly as 8 hours after a workout and last up to 4-5 days

Great job Cabra! Keep it up!

I was able to start doing some more strength work this week. My ankle is recovering quicker than expected so that's good.

As I've said before, threads with no pics tend to lose steam so I'll share my workout space/workshop/office. Can't deny inspiration is all around me :)

To all others working out at home, what does your setup look like? Care to share? :)

That is crazy, I couldn't imagine it lasting 4-5 days because that'd mean 2-3 days of alright walking before the next leg day!

Everyone I've talked to on my fitness blogs and IRL usually feel it worse on the second day no matter what part of the body it is that they worked out. I mean, they don't always get that sore feeling after they workout but when they do, it is usually the second day.

Re: TASM Fitness Thread. "Shirts-off" Challenge Starts NOW for May 4th deadline!

ive actually gotten into working out ive been at it for right around three months give or take. i do a mass gainer, a test booster from pro supps but, the wonders of anything test booster wise is the fact that some will rpoduce estrogen and give you **** the pro supps stuff has estrogen blockers (just be cautious) i do alot of protein right around 65 to 70 grams. ive got alot of results in my traps and my chest.

i do for protein a shake tyhat is a cup of organic egg whites, two scoops of syntha-6 protein and a cup of milk.

i also do pre workouts and my meals of course but i can post pictures up to if i get to it this weekend with work and all
