Re: A lot of people working on TASM but are you also working on your fitness?

Can't wait to get back in the gym, I was recently diagnosed with Prostititis :( wont kill ya but takes a hell of a lot out of ya. I'm finally managing to get a hold of the symptoms through medications so I'm hopeful for a return to working out sooner rather than later, reading your guys' posts give me serious motivation!

That's awesome man! Once I get my suit done I definitely want do some things like that. I'm thinking about contacting my local children's hospital. If anyone deserves to meet Spider-Man, it's them.

I'm not going TASM, but have a Raimi suit on it's way. Since the holidays, I've been following Mark Sisson's Primal style, which really helps cut a lot of the crap out of what you eat.

I'm also going to get back to my P90x workouts too.

Go Spider-Men!

Re: A lot of people working on TASM but are you also working on your fitness?

XD El Fett im sorry i didnt see this thread before i asked you in a pm about fitness. After 3 weeks of toiling over the puff paint i am getting back to running and lifting 6 days a week. Today i weighed 168 (im usually 175) which is insane considering i have been sitting around painting the whole time! My legs are twice as muscly as my arms for reasons unknown so i have to switch that up by mid march. Im thinking if i avoid sugar, fat, and starch whenever possible, and jog every day ill get thinner but not weaker legs.

lovin all the input on this thread, very motivational. So after losing all the weight I found I couldn't gain any weight back until I started doing a clean bulk diet. Finally up from 135 to 140, Bf% has dropped to 10% from 11/12%, started intaking protein shakes like crazy to get enough protein in my diet on my lift days. Besides 5 lift days a week, Ive been mixing in the spatacus workout.

So today I will be starting up Vol. 2 of the Insanity the Asylum series. I will also make an effort to eat cleaner, cut my carb intake and all the jazz. Hope to have something good to report in the coming weeks :)

Re: A lot of people working on TASM but are you also working on your fitness?

Well, this week i just hired a personal trainer. Im down to 162 pounds and really (according to the guy i hired) I'm not taking in nearly enough food to give my muscles any strength, so when I'm running and doing my cardio, I'm starting to lose muscle as well. So now that I've lost all this weight (probably more than i want/need to) and hired this guy, my goal is to get around the same definition as what Tobey Maguire had in the first Spider Man. So, I think it will go well!

Re: A lot of people working on TASM but are you also working on your fitness?

Hey guys just checking in to see how everyone's progress is coming along. Hopefully everyone is on track for their goals, whatever they may be!

I'm doing good. I'm happy to say I think I've gotten to the point where I don't have anything else to lose. I've noticed a huge increase in energy and core strength as well as my arms. I've kept up my running, dieting, etc and I'm still at 164 but I'm noticing a change in my physique, particularly my sides which have always been my worst enemy and my chest is gaining definition. I've also started doing a lot of stretching after I work out to become more flexible. Cheers guys!

And I felt like suiting up since I haven't in well over 3 months lol.

Lol nope! I almost posted that last night! During my core workout I'm usually listening to it. "I Can't See You Anymore" gets me into my zone for whatever reason as does the beginning of "Young Peter".

I listen to a few of the songs from it, but mostly music from the original Spider Man trilogy :)
