First the shakes and stuff is not nessecary really. For me it just makes ot easier to reach my needed kcal. I am 5"11 too and weight ca. 78kg. My body fat is like 4-8% im not sure. Never messuerd it.

Running is good for health etc. But doesnt let u lose weight. I never run tbh cuz its boring to me loo.

For me a found pretty good ways to shape and gain muscles n get ripped. I miss the mauy thai workouts tho. I use 2 short dumbells and single weights for my workouts.

In ur case i would keep going as u do and dont eat too much and push weight or do workputs (pushups etc) you have to burn more than u eat so u convert the overfat into muscles.

If you want i can list up tomorrpw what i do on regular basis for a lil hint how u can go.

If im wrong with any of my advices you other guys are welcome to correct me :)

Thanks man. Will be looking out for your work out if you post it up today. Cheers man.

Nice! I love checking out other people's workouts and incorporating new stuff into my routine. I just finished today's P90X workout - I'm not on the "program" at all but I use it occasionally when I don't feel like going out to the gym. Yesterday was heavy on chest/shoulders/tris so today was mainly cardio.

My last BF professionally measured was 11%, but I know that wasn't my lowest - I can safely say I have gotten down into the single digits while cutting. My next con is in 5 short weeks, I've been cutting since before Christmas so hopefully I'll be in decent Spidey shape!

I'm an easy gainer - fat sticks to my midsection really quickly. Until ECCC I'll be at around 1600-1700 net cals/day, and I'm using the Livestrong app to track calories and workouts. Diet is lean meat (I love steak, pork, chicken breasts, and sashimi), fresh veggies, complex carbs (I don't believe in lo-carb diets), protein bars & shakes, and tons of water. I love nuts so I fill my diet with almonds, and supplement with psyllium husks for fiber.

Here's the result of cutting two years ago - since then I have gained an inch in my arms, not sure how much in my chest.

Re: TASM Fitness Thread. Get your Spidey Physique tips on exercise and nutrition here

Got my body fat professionally tested today 10.0 on the dot. Too bad that is gonna change now that I am starting a bulking phase.

Re: TASM Fitness Thread. Get your Spidey Physique tips on exercise and nutrition here

Luckily i never had problems with fat. So i cant give advice. All my trainer said was burn more than you eat. So i would do workout and training till it burns n hurts.
I have to eat ca. 2700-3000kcal only to keep my muscles. I could eat 3500ckal a day without getting fat.

Aron we are very different Spideys haha! It's easy for me to build muscle but my diet has to be very restricted.

Three weeks til comic con where I'm debuting my new suit - I have been on 1600 net cal/day for the past month or two - dropping down to 1400 for the last three weeks. Working out every day, alternating weight training and cardio days. Will be moving to two-a-days in about a week. It's a struggle for me to get my body fat back in the single digit range.

Re: TASM Fitness Thread. Get your Spidey Physique tips on exercise and nutrition here

I totally love this thread! I was really FAT! I did P90X for 2 years. Ate clean... dropped to 155lbs.
I've bulked and cut awhile. I shifted my workout program to Kris Gethlin's DTP. I was back up to a strong good 185lbs.
I started trimming for CA2:TWS. I'm down to 172lbs and as strong and lean as I've ever been.
My diet plan is called Zero Will Power: 4-5 tupperwares each day with half a chicken breast or 4oz steak with 1 cup brown rice and veggies.
I'll try and post a more recent pic... Here are some of the journey.

What a fantastic thread! As everyone is hiding behind avatars and usernames, can I ask if anyone in this thread is female? I'm sure all this information would be the same or similar for a woman, but as a fairly out of shape Spider-girl wannabe I would love to hear from some girls on the subject as well.

I'm very new here, fyi, so if there's a preexisting thread I'm missing just call me out.

Not even using a diff username :p

I cant give much advice for women.

I only was told that women should not do all the same belly exercises n workouts like men.

I haven't posted on this thread before, and Iiiiii... don't believe there're any women actively participating? I'm hopping around right now trying to get ready for work, so this is more just a HAVE SOME SOLIDARITY, SIS reply than a useful information one. But I've been working on getting myself ready for a Spidey suit, so you're not alone!

It's nice to know that I'm not alone in this project. I have always wanted to go to the ECC as SPIDEY, but I knew as well that if I wasn't in Spidey Shape no matter how cool my suit was I would look like crap in Spandex, soo I started the T-25 program and I think I look good enough now to make my suit look like it should.

I am 5'11" and when I started I was 237lbs. I currently weigh 197lbs. I'm not where I want to be yet, but I'm trying hard. Don't mind the dorky poses...

You will make it :)
The way of ur eating behavior had a huge role too.
I cut out most of noodles and rice.
I eat quinoa instead (also called Inca Rice). Its almost pure protein and has alot of minerals and stuff. Much better than rice ;) and it tasted good i think.

Wow, that's quite the transformation, nice work!!

Easily the toughest part of a Spidey costume - no hiding behind rubber armor hah!

Re: TASM Fitness Thread. Get your Spidey Physique tips on exercise and nutrition here

Great thread everyone! Heath and fitness should be on everyone's minds, especially for those of us brave enough to wear Spandex! I NEVER thought I would be wearing Spandex at my age, but fortunately I have a fairly high metabolism (Thank you Mom!).
While I'm in very good health and shape, I do want more definition in my arms and abs (probably the two most popular areas for most).
I don't get out to the gym as often as I would like so I try to do some basics at home several times a week ( In addition to running several times a day with my dog).
Push ups, crunches and squat thrusts have been my main routines. Any other suggestions?
