Actually, Taskmaster appeared first.

Although they both first appeared during the same year, Avengers #185 came out in May while New Teen Titans #2 came out in December.

I think you're mixing up your stories. Deadpool is supposed to have been based on Deathstroke. That might be where the confusion comes in.

I'm starting a build of the same costume for this year's Dragon*Con. I just bought the holsters, coveralls, and gloves, and I was wondering what you did for the shin guards. I've been looking for old-style catcher's guards, but everything I've found is too streamlined for this costume.

I noticed that you mentioned EVA foam for the armor. Do you mean that you used that for the shins, thighs, arms, etcetera? If you did, I'd love it if you had some measurements I can use for scale if nothing else.
