Taskmaster Costume Help

I'm trying to have this costume done in time for Megacon in Orlando FL in March and I'm in need of a little help. As you can see in the photo below he has two pistols one under each arm in a holster, I already got the M1911 Pistols taken care of I bought solid blue training guns painted them black and added a orange tip to the gun and painted the hammer of the guns orange as well. Now where I'm stuck is trying to find a dual chest holster like the one he is wearing in the photo. Can anyone help?

You will probably have to custom make it. You can use kydex or leather holsters One RH and One LH in order to hold the pistols and then make the rest of the rig yourself
 
The top image is his suit when he appeared in his own series and along side Agent X. The bottom is his classic suit which I think he is back in now.
 
Buy a shoulder holster of a similar design used for airsoft, they're cheap on Amazon and Ebay I'm sure, and cut the stitching out. Then use those patterns as a rough guide, get everything roughed out in cardboard, and then once you have the shapes right cut it out of foam and coat it in plasti dip and then paint it white. Should give you a good texture and make it super easy and cheap to get the right shape. It'll be nice and bendy as well and tear resistant. Then it'd just be a matter of sculpting the buckles in sculpey and painting and attaching them, and using the straps from the original airsoft setup to put it all together.
 
Wow, love both versions of Taskmaster. Hmmm .. how far have u gone in making ur suit? Would love to see the pictures!
 
Hi, right now I have the armor made out of EVA Foam, the Mask is being sculpted, and the suit I'm waiting to hear back from a friend regarding a sub-dye suit. I found the holsters in nylon which is best for me honestly because I can dye them white.

You didn't know about TM? You should really check out a wiki article he's awesome. He took a version of the super-soldier serum that allows him to replicate any physical activity he sees just once, but it also erases his memory so he thinks he's a villain. He's actually a SHIELD agent that has no idea he's a good guy.
 
I got the nickname years ago, because I enforced very high standards on my cadets. The result was we won the drill trophy a lot and my guys were always among the top achievers.

People often ask why there's a double T in my username... They seem disappointed to find it only stands for 'The' :lol:

But no, I had no idea. I did Wiki him, the instant I saw this thread.

I wasn't to thrilled when I read that story line, but hey! It's Task Master and I'll love him anyway. It's starting to grow on me now.

I haven't seen alot of people do him as a costume. Now-a-days it's a ton of Deadpools.

I thought it was a nice touch, so long as they don't ever actually make him a good guy. Like it's an interesting twist on his character, but it doesn't necessarily change him in any concrete way. As long as he keeps losing his memory and training villains I'm happy. I do miss the Udon armor though his old costume is a little dated imo. Not sad about them losing the orange either.

In The Avengers comic but I can't remember the issue number

i don't know if you're into such things, but the marvel legends Taskmaster action figure is exceptional and a fairly cheap purchase from ebay....
check it out!!!
