Today was a very successful days casting, a bulk layout and a low volume of needed alloy meant I was able to get 50 pieces cast, all the toes parts, one of the hip ball joints, the back part of the lower leg and the 8 pistons for around the neck and shoulders. The mold for the toes separated really nicely so here's a quick pic

Hooray.... The casting stage is finally completed, now the huge job of cleaning up and assembly of the parts start still a verrrry long way to go but this is still a pretty big milestone.

The torso is together and I have fixed most of the missing details still a bit to do and then a crap load of polishing but it's getting there...

Today I did some mod to a engine trolley to act as a assembly station... I also got the pre polish clean up done on shoulder blade...
