T3-M4 / Knights of the Old Republic (WIP) - pic heavy

So I have a busy summer ahead of me. My first project for this summer will be my T3-M4 robot from Knight of The Old Republic 1 & 2. Check out the pictures below so you can see how far I am. I will be updating with more some pictures some time this week. Thanks for looking!

Here are some new pictures of the progress, some old & new. I'm trying to get T3-M4 finished by the release next year for The Old Republic video game.

The feet & legs are coming along really well, I just have to take some pictures of them. Once T3-M4 is complete he will be fully functional just like my R2-185 astromech.

Nice, I can't wait to see this!

I seem to remember a Yahoo Group dedicated to building the T3. I remember them having a good ammount of reference and helpful ideas.

I always wondered if someone would try this. I have zero knowledge of the EU, but loved playing KOTOR (1 & 2) and really liked T3M4. No offence to R2, but it seems like everyone has made one, and it's lost that charm through over-saturation. Having said that, I look forward to seeing this completed and next to your R2.

Here's a look of some progress I've completed the past few days. I'm really trying to complete T3 before the release of The Old Republic in 2011. So I'll be working twice as hard, which means more pictures for you folks. But for now enjoy what I have below!

T3 will be sporting fully functional battle bot motors for the feet. I will also be making T3's dome move side to side just like in the game. Im not sure if I will be making T3 do the 2-3-2 like in the game. There will be a lot more which I will make a list of soon.

Now the real question (cue controversy): Who would win in a fight: T3-M4 or R2-D2?

In a fair fight the cheese sandwich for sure, prison rules though the Taco all the way....oh wait wrong movie

In my R2-185 astromech, I put a soda machine in the rear compartment which serves pony size cans. Which means T3 will have something special as well, possibly a mini microwave since these conventions steal your money with pretzels prices.

Now that sounds both cool and practical! Mobile snack and beverage dispensers, essential convention companions!
