T2 Lifesize Bust Stage 5 Re-Do WIP (pic intensive)

This T2 bust was sculpted using a life cast of Arnold and using paper mache I completely sculpted the torso, and he is super heavy. Never happy with older pieces I tend to redo them. I figured I would change it to a stage 5 makeup. I started by sawzall-ing the old head off (which was pretty wierd) then carving out the neck for the new head. Not sure on positioning,,,,any ideas? Also you will note the huge ears oin Arnie which will also be removed and replaced with lifecasted Arnold ears from another lifecast. The eyes are glass but appear too big so they will probably have to be painted as well. I was also thinking about making the new head posable- left to right. Any ideas? Still a work in progress

Here is the original piece:

Looks good. Hard to believe that's paper mache for the torso. Don't feel bad about no comments, my stuff rarely gets any either.

Thanks Wes,,,i know a lot of people who look and dont post, but its cool. i would just like input to make it as good as i can.
Anyway, this is my latest update and id like to know how the ears look. Getting second opinions is what I need. After you do something you think it looks great till people point out what you cant see.

I molded and casted ears off of an Arnold laser scan trimmed them up and placed them on the head. i dont know if the need to be deeper intot the head or not,,,,any ideas?

Here are the ears:

Thanks for looking and any input or criticisms or (y)thumbsdown

I'm dreading having to do ears for my sculpture. It looks good so far. Ears are the one thing that never quite look right even when taken from a direct casting of the person.

you can always mold your own ears. I did these in like 10 minutes using alginate then casted the resin into the aglinated using a water trap additive. Works great and its fast.

Just wanted to chime in and say this thread is great. Its so crazy how much of a difference the ears made! And paper mache for the torso? That is unreal.

I am just sorry I didn't see this sooner, I would have been the first to reply.

Looks MUCH better. If you can though, you should reposition the eyes - they seem to be looking in two different directions.

Thanks bro, we share the same passion for the lifesize stuff. I was hoping you would see this and maybe do the same for the ears you need.
