t2 Arnie bust who is the maker

I purchased this and am trying to figure out who the maker is.

I do not know but I have 2 of them. What is yours cast out of? Mine are both plaster. One I got from Tom fully painted with a light up eye. The second one is just a face cast but it is bald with no hair or eyebrows. I am also interested. Where did you pick yours up at?

I have (had) 2 of them myself - one was cast in plaster while the other was laytex and I let go of in trade. Here's the plaster version:

For some reason I've always thought that it was some sort of original sculpt model kit or something ...

I bought mine on ebay and it is resin. It is not solid but pretty solid just more little bubbles in the hair then I was expecting. Does anyone know how to fill those in such a fine detailed area.

Ok here is my bust. I got this from houdiniguy. I cannot find my original pic so this was taken before he was boxed on his way to me. This pic was taken by houdiniguy.

When I got him I touched up the nose to match the battle damage. You could see where it had been broken in the past and re-glued. I also removed the red bulb from his eye. I took Future floor wax and applied it to the exposed/bleeding parts to make it look wet.
This is today.

And with the eye lit up. I am still toying with the best way to light it up. Right now it has a tiny red led in it.

The last one is finished and unfinished.

As for the history I have no idea. I have seen many of them. Simmon posted showing his. I purchased mine from houdiniguy. PHArchivist had one. Goldenrod stated that he painted the bust I currently have 4 years ago.

Hey Gman - yeah, I still have the plaster version. I'll probably part with it once the Sideshow bust is released. I remember purchasing mine from Mark Goodson before he got banned from the board and it may or may not have been painted by Goldenrod as well! Perhaps he will chime in with some additional insight.

The one I have was all but set up for the light-up eye but I misplaced some time ago.

I years of looking at T2 busts and face casts, I've never heard who sculpted this one.

It is clear, though, that it is a custom sculpt, with no tangible lineage to SWS.

I had a plaster copy, but never did anything with it, and dumped it once I got my PH bust.

FWIW, a company called Global Market did a different version of a Stage V arnie face, cast as a resin shell, and apparently sculpted using the M1 skull as a base. I have a finished version of that one...

Yep. Although I think he only sculpted the hair over a 2nd or 3rd generation pull.
