SORRY.Why?
SORRY.
I did not actually try it.
I just put what is written in the book.
I heard that it is not suitable for detailed modeling because it tends to string.
If you have a SLA or DLP optical 3D printerYes, it has a tendency to string, but this can be resolved by calibrating retractions, drying the filament before printing. Also, the faster the idle movements of the print head, the fewer such problems. But yes, printing PETG is more challenging than PLA.
In any case, it looks better with the current skull but after I finished my 3D file, I put the finishing touches on it with the final skull and even changed the base a little, I hope everything fitsAlready looks so much better than with the Hot Toys skull.
What chrome did you use on the skull to match the look of the Hot Toys figure?
Not chromed By myself but…after I let it print in Resin I don’t know wich Resin … I printed it and Failed the chrome by myself I tried to save it by sanding the lines a little more clearly and I let it chromed , the upper skull part is printed in resin after I fail the chroming I let it pvd coating and The jaw with pistons is polished real metal printed in Lost wax casting mode in brass… I use a silver plating gel without electroplating and polished the metal brass parts to a high gloss and ad some Weathering effects. I had the jaw made in metal because the plastic one was bent and unfortunately broke off!!!Already looks so much better than with the Hot Toys skull.
