T1 and T2 Endoskeleton Research Thread

Could be. There are some weapon triggers that have those grooves on the side.

EDIT: Oh, I was thinking of the actual trigger... but yeah... there are screw on trigger guards that has a similar shape.
I meant the trigger, as in the photo.
But that's unlikely, it's too narrow.

If the face is perfectly symmetrical, it looks uncomfortable, like Genisys.
However, if the face is left asymmetrical, it will look distorted.
Therefore, it is important to find the right balance between symmetry and asymmetry.View attachment 1789466

what are the exact dimensions of the entire skull in 1/1 ? I've almost finished working on my skull bust to bring the perfection of this t-800 skull in 3D to life and want to print it soon .... can someone recommend remote controlled lighting for the eyes and what about the chrome plating?

トイナミの1/3スケールのシネマケットは、背表紙の部分が正確で、間隔を空けすぎただけで、胸の長方形の部分も正しい。私が知る限り、ネックピースも正確です...しかし、ねじれていて、ピースが多すぎます。

I own it.
I did photogrammetry but the result was not so good.
So I would like to try photogrammetry again someday.

This is the natural balance. The only way to make that skull pure and perfect is to mirror one side and apply it to the other. If it's made by machine, then it's going to be perfect.;)(y)

If I just mirror the face, it will look weird.
Therefore, I make a symmetrical face by averaging the left and right sides, not by mirroring.
I then make the face slightly asymmetrical to give it more character.

SKYNET-2029 relied too heavily on my scan and replicated defects that shouldn't exist, while also missing real details that were almost imperceptible on the scan.
Marked with different colors are the surfaces that should be perfectly flat and parallel to each other, while where the color is the same, the surfaces should be coplanar.

The Toynami 1:3 scale Cinemaquette has accurate spine pieces - they just made the spacing between them too much - and the rectangular piece on the chest is correct too. From what I can tell the neck piece is accurate too... but is twisted and has too many pieces.

Anyone who owns this piece, could you confirm... and could you post pictures of your piece?

If we had scans of those we could fix the full scale ones.
They had to do the spine as shown because of the difficulties making it like the one in the movie (they could've, but more expensive). With that much spacing, you can still move the puppet.;)

I don't understand how it would be more expensive? Isn't it a static piece? If you just have each individual spine piece and create a spacing you could easily create that bend without having the spacing be that massive. Though - it will make it easier for us to get good scans of each one, except the ones covered by the front of the chest. Though, from what I can tell, those ones on the ghostman 1:1 spine photogrammetry models seems to be pretty close to how the original looks... only their bottom edges needs to be shaven a bit, according to the originals.

I meant the trigger, as in the photo.
But that's unlikely, it's too narrow.

I took off my Terminator's nose mold using silicone, cast a copy of the nose out of polyurethane, trimmed the excess, and painted it with a Molotow liquid chrome marker. I did this just for illustration. What does it remind you of? Maybe try searching by image, perhaps someone will get lucky...

It reminds me of the butt of a double-barreled shotgun.
