T1 and T2 Endoskeleton Research Thread

Ah yes, forgot.

I would definitely go with everything untrimmed. Look at original endoskeletons to see if that part is trimmed on theirs or it is just your casting. And if there is one piece on one side that isn't on the other, then still keep it, as well as what is on the other, so you have everything in one.

Neck piece has been trimmed. That was rough. Will hopefully scan it tomorrow. Too tired now.

I will not file the edges clean before scanning, but eventually I will try to trim them to make them look like this:

This Endo is from the 30th anniversary of Terminator. The paint job is a bit lacking but it’s a nice cast.

Also I’m not a huge fan of the extended mid section. The head sits nice on the neck with this one though.

I’d also think none of it is screen used anywhere. I can imagine SWS/Legacy Effects would just get a call asking for an Endo to be whipped up for some event and they just cast one up. They’d have the capability to do so at any given moment. Also that would explain it just being spray painted.

ghostman: such a nice looking neck model.

Do you have any closer pictures of your spine model?

That endo looks great. Wouldn't mind sourcing some parts from it. And yeah... the chest is raised way too much, though I do think the head could do with being raised just a little bit. Not by much.

This is one I’ve never seen before and is definitely T1. It lines up with the other pics we have of the parts. Beautiful.

Well, they used the same molds for T2... so could be from T2 production!?

But man... having access to all seven spine sections... would be awesome.

ghostman: the spine you used for photogrammetry looks awesome. Is that an original piece?
