T1 and T2 Endoskeleton Research Thread

Thanks.

Well, this sucks. The latest scanner software update has screwed things up. When meshing the scans into a solid model it now stalls at 80% and after a long time it gives the error message that there is "insufficient memory", which is a load of BS as I have more than the recommended amount to run the scanner. I struggled with it all day, got annoyed as I already had a headache and just went and took a nap. When coming back to it later I just tried to ignore the error message and force it to finish, which it did. Though, this may be a random occurrence and not something that will happen every time I do it... but at least... there is a chance to get the scans finished now, even though meshing now takes twice as long due to the idiotic error message. Have contacted Shining support about it, as the latest update screwed things over so it doesn't even work going back to an earlier version, so hopefully they are checking the code. Though... hard to tell.

Have determined that I'm going to stick with the 0.2mm scan resolution for the endoskeleton. 0.1mm resolution takes twice as long and has 4 times harder to catch all details, such as grooves and depressions and are more prone to errors... and now, unlike originally, there is very little difference between the final result quality, so they really improved the 0.2mm resolution, but barely did any improvement to the 0.1mm one.

3 more. I did not scan the rectangular piece as that is not an original SWS piece, but was sculpted for the T2:3D display endoskeletons. And I'll probably not show the spine pieces as I cannot find the original scans, but only my resized and re-shaped ones. So they wouldn't be accurate. Though, they are shaped to the pelvis piece... so if people want me to post them, please let me know.

Chest Abb Plate - 02

Have not done any new orthographic images these past few days. I'll get right back to it once I'm done opening the screw holes in the back piece and battery cover scans. Already done the chest. They are just to make it easier to drill out the holes when printed, as they are originally not always straight across from each other, and it will be easier to get the holes drilled correctly when the holes are already open and connecting to the screw holes on each side of the casting, eliminating the guesswork of hitting the opening on the other side and making it look good. If that makes sense.

Okay, finally finished fixing the chest and the back. May re-scan the battery cover, so won't do the screw holes on that one yet.

I'll try and get back to the orthographic views soon.

I share the photos of the HCG Skull.
If you have photogrammetry software, please try if you can make it 3D.
The quality size of the photo is reduced from the original.
Thank you very much for the photo. This helped me improve the proportions of my model. But I still need to decide on the size of the teeth and the height of the jaw attachment. Аnd a little more polishing

Little Update of my Terminator Projects

To the 1/1 kits :
The 2 model kits I ordered futuretech and phantom recast are for sale again because I didn't like them and the phantom recast has already been sold but an original M1 was added and that will stay!!!

To the 3D model:
I took many details from the EMP T1 prop skull, and it's actually finished but somehow the HCG model made me Break a bit... because of the shrinking of the m1 but after that I accepted it because the Stan Winston Crew did it that way with some movie models... I didn't want to change the whole model again and trusted Deltadesignru's processing even if the hcg is a bit more accurate in some places but there are still a lot of details missing….

To the 1/4 Endo of Hot Toys:
And a little update to my 1/4 hot Toys Custom Endo figure that really slowed me down ….unfortunately not finished yet and still needs an update head from the 3d file but so the end result will be approximately
