T-800 Terminator Model Kits

I was just curious if anyone has had any experience with this website or these products.
T-800 Skull:
Terminator T-800 Skull Head 1/1 Vinyl Model Kit
T-800 Arm:
Terminator T-800 Endoskeleton ARM Cyberdyne 1/1 Resin Model Kit
The site looks a little shady and the prices seem kind of low. I've also read that quite a few resin arm kits are low quality and take a lot of work, should I expect this to be one of them? Is there a recommended place to purchase such kits from?
Thanks for the Advice,
Andrew

Would anyone object if re cast a recast from Thailand? I bought the Thai endo arm and it's a bit rough. The skull is much worse. It's from the vinyl kit and has a lot of warpage.

I've seen some shots of the Vinyl 1:1 around, and the head looks ugly. It may be a fan sculpt with no basis of the original.

Always be wary of two things when shopping online: when a person takes a photo 3-4 feet away there is a lot of perspective distortion that hides the true proportions of the prop (therefore ask for a 6 foot distance photo with the mask looking directly into the camera), and if the mask is turned away from the camera. Looking away, things will almost almost look better, but when facing the camera, that will reveal the good, bad and ugly of the prop.

BTW, did a quick search and came up with this:

It looks worse to me than the photo in the link you posted.

I can't say for sure, but the skull looks like the offering from a dodgy operation called "Star Fortress.".

Although I'm not 100% sure, I picked up a cheap model on eBay earlier in the year and after a LOT of searching I think mine was also from them. Its not SA certainly but most of the detail is reasonably clear and sharp however (and this is a BIG 'however') its a shocking cast by way of warping and also, the various pieces that come with the skull are really disgusting in the way they are finished - the lower jaw on mine was snapped in two…

Although I wasn't aware of the pedigree of my purchase it was so dirt cheap it didn't worry me that it was not perfect. As I pointed out on a build thread http://www.therpf.com/f9/cheap-terminator-endoskull-build-95708/ I wanted to have a trashed skull anyway so getting one that was half way there and very cheaply was fit-for-purpose as far as I was concerned.

I would certainly NOT purchase from them generally and I urge a "Buyer Beware" for this acquisition especially if your'e paying more than $20 for it and if you are wanting a clean model for a good display..

Hope this is of some help

Regards

MARK

I also noticed on that site that they said the kits were recasts, but I wasn't sure if they meant recast the same way the RPF means recast.
Wow, that M1 is really nice, how much do they usually go for? The vinyl heads are looking less appealing...

Depends if you can find one or not, I haven't seen any around for quit awhile. Went out of production ages ago. Those vinyl ones in the link are junk IMO.
