Syrus54 - IronMan Page

Re: Syrus54 - IronMan Page - Mark 6 v2 needs 2 parts unfolded before it can be releas

Very nice! Thanks for the modeling files!

So to be clear, I put passwords on the .PDO files for a reason.

It's to keep people for Stealing, and/or modifying the files that I release.

It would be against the Rules, as well all simple honorable decency, for someone to convert any PDO to Foam, especially without the Permission of the Original Modeller. In THIS case; Myself.

You can print out the Original files, and just choose where to cut, such as not cutting the Tabs out WITH the main part.

It would essentially be the same thing, from what I understand. I'm sure someone out there has made a tutorial on how to do it.

Hey ghost minion!

Do you have the ability to convert the pdo files to foam?

Yup, what he said.

I don't need a tutorial on how to use the templates for foam. I converted my mark 3 and war machine beautifully.
You should know that scaling is already difficult enough without having to print pdf files at different sizes to get a trial and error fit. Yes, I read the entire thread and I didn't ask for the password because I didn't want to hurt your feelings.
If you are posting these at different sizes, great. I need one at 95%. I saw imim2 was making some for foam speed build whatever, but it's incomplete.

I really like your files and models. They're great. Nobody else is making some of these obscure suits. But if you're making it nearly impossible for people to craft suits from your models. .. What's the point?

I built my mark 39 using those "nearly impossible for people to build" files you said.

I did check out your build. Looking good.
I also noticed you mentioned it was a pain in the you-know-what to build. I'm willing to bet it's not because of the angles

it's because some parts are not converted to foam, so i just look for some alternative to build it properly using the paper unfolds, scaling is not a problem because i fit on a single scale, i used the -10% scale files, which is about 19.something scale, i really don't recall since i can't check the scale using the pep viewer

The Mark 6 v2 is Almost here.

Rebo's doing the Unfold of the Abdomin, and it's the Last Part that needs unfolded.

So when it's done, the Files will be released.

Alright, the Mark 6 v2 was in production for a While, and is Now Done.

Check it out, let me know if anything's missing.

It's very Difficult to Criticize JJ Abrams for using Lens Flares. They just make things look AWESOME:
