I am considering building an Iron Man suit and this one is currently at the top of my list along with the Mark I. I might wait for the movie to see if there are any other suits I like better, but I like this one quite a bit. I am definitely subscribed to this thread.

How comes your models dont have sharp lines ?

I dont know what you mean, but I do try to make the models as high-poly as I can. That means there are more points in them, to make them look SMOOTH, instead of BLOCKY.

Such as this:


White=High, Grey=Low.

What software are you using?

I used to use Rhino, but I didnt have the full version, so I couldn't save anything. + no animation feature. Then I tried 3DS max, too complicated. Then Blender, not as many features. After many years, I finally came across Cinema 4D. I love it, and will never use anything else again.

I'm trying to build this suit, and need more reference.

I also need reference material. As much as possible, movie pics preferred. I want this suit to be as close to the movies suit as I can get it.
