I finally got to see daggers that the angels in Supernatrual use. pretty neat design.Anyone know who designed them.?

seems as I've gone thru threads with Supernatural items in them...there's never much info on this stuff...guessing maybe the desire for props and stuff isn't that high..shame though...would love to see some stuff. :unsure

Oh same here. I was thinking of tackling making the angel swords when I'm done with the Colt. I think they may have cobbled those together from other items though. I haven't found anything similar but I imagine you could put together the triple sided blade and then set it into a length of chrome pipe stopped and capped at each end with appropriately sized washers and covers. Most of this could probably be found in a hardware store with the exception of the blades.

These look to be made out of one piece of aluminum. The coloring of the metal looks like aluminum to me. Wouldn't be too difficult to lathe the handle portion then taper the blade portion on the lathe, then take it to the mill to get the 3 flat sides.

If you look at the screen caps it looks like a modified Rondel dagger with a triangluar blade.

Out of all the props from Supernatural, this is the one I want a replica of the most. They really haven't shown many good pictures of it on the show... those screencaps are the best I've seen and about the only ones I remember from the show. It's definitely on my wish list.

I am working omn a 3D model of this which i hope to have a machinist have a crack at later this year.

Hey LeMarchand,If you have these made what do you think it would run and what material would it be made from.

I made an Angel Sword and have it on ebay. Only have one. It is made of wood and painted metallic silver. I have a high buy it now which I really don't even expect to sell it for. It has a best offer feature. It's good. MAY have some resin ones if this sells good. Just go to ebay and type in Supernatural prop. Had a wood Ruby's Knife last week.

Too early too tell as there are a lot of factors. Metal prices, machinist costs, dollar/euro value and time spent on polishing etc.

Have another wood one on ebay now for custom order. Working on a wood model to have made into resin ones. Just waiting to hear back from partner in the resin ones.

resin is great..but really thinking aluminum would be the way to go on this...but maybe super sturdy resin that's chromed would be pretty nice as well......:thumbsup
