Wilson, if you do not mind, that would be amazing. I'd be happy to compensate you for gas and your time. Very much appreciated and very generous of you!

Set up a time to meet with the guy about the Impala. Tomorrow on Friday the 13th, how appropriate!!!
How'd it go?
Very grateful that someone was willing to do this. Another opportunity for me to "Pay It Forward." Car looks pretty good and I spoke with a friend who works at a body shop and got some opinion on it. I left a voicemail for the owner yesterday and am waiting to hear back. Hopefully I will this afternoon. Maybe I'll shoot him a text this evening to make sure he got my call if I don't hear anything.
Wilson is a gentleman and I appreciate him doing this. Sorry for the inconvenience and delay in the owner's arrival.
I shall keep everyone posted as soon as I know what the plan is! Cheers!
This forum is getting a little quiet. What happened to all the updates? I didn't realize until I bought and started working on my impala how much fun it was. This is a must read for any restoration to supernatural. View attachment 339285

I actually like this color. The interior in in great shape. The only problem I'm having is the gas pedal. The metal accelerator rod seems really close to the firewall area. Is there a way to adjust it to come out more so I can get a pedal that will actually push it. I'm not sure if it's in the right spot or not but seems to be really close to the wall. Any help or advice?????
