I read here that Armondo Alverez (sp) was not legit, wee ANY of his costumes? This ones seems to have been "appraised" but I am not sure about it, does anyone know anything else about it?

That's an interesting find.

I would love to own an original suit however, if the guy hasn't got any paperwork to prove it's liniage, I think he will be hard pressed to sell it as such

It's a fake. The original tag isn't on there.

WOW, thats a very well written article with a point by point reason why that suit is fake! Just goes to show that you should always double check authenticity.

Yeahs that's the same seller that's listed in the article, Guess he is aware that its a fake and just trying to rip someone else off, wish there was something that could be done but I don't think you can report someone on eBay for anything he is doing.

This guy has done more to ruin the Superman suit market than anyone.

Keeps the collectors from sharing almost ANY construction details for fear of the same thing happening to another costume.
