Im not happy with the solution I had to come to to fix the width of the red part, but acrylic paint was my only way out. Problem is, theres splatter damage and the muscle shading is atrocious. Spidermans two most emphasized features are his obliques and legs, and there goes that. D: I guess theres only so much shading you can do with black vs blue or something.
The mask, I feel, well, the web lines arent wide enough. Doesnt look much like a bug like I had hoped, so maybe i can fix that? Ehh. But i do like the T Jack lenses, as Im sure most people have seen all over the thread. I attached one with gorilla glue, and will attach the other one today.
The costume uses detachable gloves and boots, so I just had a loop for the sleeves and pants to stay down. I think I pulled off the claw effect pretty well, and hopefully I can decide on webshooters for this. I was just thinking simple comic book ones.
The back of the costume: The spider is WAYYY off. Just more for me to fix while I wait for me thicker neourethane sheet from amazon, because while trying to cut out the spider for my costume out of this polyurethane, the polyurethane sheet kinda fell apart while I was trying to cut a spider out of it. Does anyone know how I can cut a spider out of a sheet properly and direct me to exactly what kind of sheet I need to buy?
The aftermath of trying to cut out a spider:
So, what do you think?
