Superhero party

Some friends just dropped the news that they are having a "superhero" themed party soon. I am trying to think of what/who I can go as on a tight budget. I figured on going the storebought costume route and doing something like "SpaceGhost" but I started thinking something like maybe Wolverine in the whole casual Jeans/tank look. You know, style the hair, add claws and dog tag, maybe the indian buckle. Who in here makes the claws fairly cheap for a "one-night" appearance? Do you guys have any other "cheap" costume ideas?
