Sunabouzu from Desert Punk

Okay, so I'm planning a cosplay as the Sunabouzu from Desert Punk, but I cannot figure out how to make the helmet... I found one guy with a decent cosplay, but he doesn't say how he made the helmet! Maybe you guys have some idea? Apart from the helmet and hat, everything else should be relatively easy for find. Let me know your ideas!

How about slightly modifying this after you build it to resemble the characters hat... A dessert punk build is all about the gadgets as in the series he has a lot in his arsenal...

I agree! Gadgets are very important, but for now I really need to focus on how to make the shiney face mask...

Okay, I found a clear acrylic dome that's the right size, but I still need some way of basically turning it into a two-way mirror... I looked into using window tint for cars, but I can imagine applying the film to a curved surface would be very difficult, not to mention how extremely expensive it is! Got any ideas?

Also, if any of you know where I can find one of those two-way mirror security camera domes that's around 12 inches in diameter, that would work too.

Here's someone who seem to have used the window tint method with good results. Try asking and see if you can get some info on exactly how to do it.
Maybe layering it can reduce the visibility of the edges, but I'm not sure at all of that.
