Suits I have done and things to come...

I have been on vacation for the last little bit and posted this stuff over at the Wolf Pack. A few of the members there PM'd and reminded me to post here as as well (Duh I know I'm an idiot). Please enjoy, comment and flame away!

The first suit I did was a Black Hole Trooper. This took me over a month to build as I didn't want to screw it up. According to the 501st, I did LOL.(far right)

Next was a Sandy. I knocked this out from box to weathered in a weekend while on leave from Afghanistan. Later I added a working speaker that plays comm traffic and cantina music for parades and such.

Next up is ESB Fett. This one took the better part of 18 months due to the trip above.

Feeling good about my skills I moved on to the hard stuff. Chewie. 186 hours of hair work alone. I can still find clumps here and there around the basement. I will be starting a new mask that will have a working mouth/jaw in the next little bit.

I am currently collecting the parts needed for an Airborne Trooper.

Two of these will be done by this winter if all goes well. One will be for one of our scouts to sit on while the other will be used for civie photo ops.

Thanks all. The speeder bike is still in the planning and shopping list stage so I don't have much to share on that yet... Keep watching though and I will make sure I post what I can.

For the BH Trooper I took it upon myself to add some more detail to the suit by painting all of the raised or ribbed areas with a flat black. (Though it looks a bit grey in this shot)

I was told that I "Must repaint the areas to be accepted". LOL I don't have any plans to do that at this time though. I like the look and after the second troop with this it has remained on a mannequin in my family room ever since.

WOW!!! these costumes are totally mind blowing, you have a real talent there! I'm lovin the chewie though. Looking forward to seeing more from you in the future, keep up the excellent work!!

Thanks everyone. I should have the forced air system built for the Lycans this evening. We are planning a photo shoot with both of the suits and the artist that sculpted them in about 10 days or so. I will post the completed shots after that. There is more of that build on a sister thread over in WPE at;

All terrific costumes! And I must say that I personally like your variation on the BH Trooper better than the original. I'd also love to see more pics and details on the speeder bike build. I could definitely see myself taking on that project in the future

Well Geek, I am still in the gathering phase for the bikes right now. I hope to have everything I need by Sept and have them done before Christmas (fingers crossed).

Well we managed to get all of the key players together tonight for the first full suited photo shoot. First, let me say that this would not have happened if not for the insanely hard work of this guy...
