Suggestions for painting a pvc catsuit?

I am contemplating purchasing a yellow pvc catsuit and painting parts of it green to achieve a sexier-than-spandex 1990's cartoon version Rogue from the X-men costume. The manufacturer indicated painting the suit is no problem however was not able to suggest a medium or method to achieve the best results. Does anyone have any thoughts on painting a pvc suit? What do I use and how do I get the best and most lasting result? Any experiences and suggestions are welcome.

You can do it, but it won't ever look good. It will always look like a painted suit.

would get a better look to buy a yellow one and a green one, cut out what you need from each and sew them together (or however you would do it with pvc)

Thank you. I am not sure how to assemble PVC so I think I will try something else. I will post pictures as it goes.
