I just had this discussion with my wife this weekend. On the one hand, I'm excited that she wants me to make her a costume. On the other hand, I'm not terribly thrilled with what we decided on; vampires. While I totally dig vampires, she doesn't want to do anything from movies, etc. She wants to do more generic, classical, gothic looking vampires.

On the plus side:
1) I get to polish my sewing skills before tackling Cap'n Jack 2.0.
2) Doing something completely designed by me, I won't stress out getting every detail right.
3) I get to dress my wife in a very short skirt and fishnets!
