Studio Scale Red Lectroid Thermopod - from "Buckaroo Banzai" FINISHED

This is a project that I've been working on for about a year and a half (on and off, mostly off). The armature is finally assembled now and it's starting to take shape.

The first pic is a screen cap for those not familiar with the ship.

After an extremely long hiatus on this I've started sculpting the surface of the ship. I'm using gray Apoxie Sculpt and will do a small section at a time.

Thanks for the comments. I like the apoxie sculpt. It has a pretty long working time which helps a lot.

Friday update today. 2 arms are added now and the crustacean is starting to emerge.

Made significant progress on the pod. I wasn't sure if I would be able to sculpt this effectively but really happy about how its turning out.
