Studio scale Darth Vader tie question

Does anybody know of what material was used to create the solar panels on the studio scale Darth Vader tie. The material used on the standard tie fighter has been know for a while but what about Darth's tie?

Yea they used a type of diffused lighting plastic, the kind which covers florescent lights. If you look closely at the wings you'll notice the small square/triangle like shapes.

I know that SWpropmaker has done alot of research on the differences between the wing panels on the tie interceptor and the advanced tie. There is plenty of discussion in the thread mentioned previously.
