There is a member here that has done one already. I don't remember his screen name but he is fairly new to the board and posted images recently of his build up. It had working lights and looked great. Hopefully he will chime in here...

Oops, I’m so sorry for the extreme late response. (better late than never)
Yes, the DeLorean model is totally built from scratch, it’s a 1/10 scale RC version.
99% finished but not yet operational, still need to find plutonium to get this baby running

wow that's a beauty man. I've always wanted to custom make a RC chasis for the 1/15 scale delorean from Diamond's. How did you come about making the body of the delorean? is it cast from something or just a 1 off piece?

I’ve always wanted a DeLorean Time Machine as a kid, tried to make one when I was 16 years old, but it turned out in a major disaster. A few years ago I tried again, successfully this time. Off course, the car isn’t operational yet so it can still turn out in a big disaster, it all depends on my driving skills... (and they are not so good).

It is a one of a kind custom 1/10 scale DeLorean and it stays that way, time travel is just too dangerous to create more Time Machines
