I've been asked by a friend to gauge interest in what would be the largest Godzilla model ever produced.
It will be based on the classic 1964 "Mothra vs Godzilla" suit. The plan is threefold - a 1/2 scale kit, which would be about 3 1/2 feet tall and probably close to 6 feet long from tip of head to tip of tail. Also, just a 1/2 scale bust from the same kit sold separately. Finally, the full sized, 1/1 scale kit, which would be about 6 1/2 to 7 feet tall! Although basically a full sized replica of the original suit and hollow cast to reduce weight, this would be a standing figure, *not* a costume. Additionally, it would be sold out of the US, not Japan which would cut down tremendously shipping costs.
Finally, the type of material the kit would be cast of or a selling price or (very limited) number of kits to be produced has not been determined yet.
