It’s going down the right side of the chest plate next to the shoulder bell. Looks like it extends from mid chest up to the strap that connects to the back plate.

It’s really amazing what you can see in the 4K versions... Looks like the Empire was literally held together by tape...

While studying Star Wars one frame at a time (don't laugh), I noticed a few things. Here are the two troopers that Luke and Han get the jump on. Where did Luke get the 'low brow' helmet then? In one scene, Luke's shoulder bell is gone. Now it's back. What do these backpacks really...
