Hello,
I am going to try and sculpt an E-11 over the holidays.
I have a MR blaster as a reference.
I will have a total of three TK costumes by December, and want to make two blasters for them without spending $300-400 on each blaster. I would like to make a mould so I can reproduce as many as I would like. I was also thinking about selling some real cheap in the near future.
I dont have much experiance, but I've been doing some research. I was thinking about making some silicone moulds, since they seem to produce the most accurate, and less messy results.
I want it to be accurate as possible, but I dont know if I want to be taking a direct cast from the MR, because I may damage it, and if I end up selling some, I'm sure there are copyright laws against it.
Here are my questions:
Anyone know the copyright laws for reproducing props?
How do you make a two part silicone mould?
What is the best material to use for the first sculpt?
Any help would be great. Thanks :thumbsup
