Stormtrooper armor

GTImotion, I am so sorry! I forgot to reply to your question. I've been so busy trying to get back on track with things. I hope this answers your question. For the back plate box: Red=189.05mm, Green=212.03mm. For the chest, I hope I measured it the right way but if not let me know. Red=377.93.

Hey guys!

I've been busy with getting things back to normal. Thank you to everyone who sent me condolences. Right now I'm working on the right thigh and it is trying to kick my butt, I'll get it though...:lol. I'll prob get it done by tonight and then I'll post a pic. I also noticed that some pics didn't show up from this thread so I'll repost those now.

Well...back to work!!!!

this is looking amazing! always wanted to build some trooper armour from cardboard, so this is very inspiring.
its such a good clean build, the attention to detail makes or breaks a build i feel, really great work so far! i shall follow this closely.

Finished the thigh earlier than I thought! I also placed the armour on my duct tape mannequin, which is horribly not proportion right, to see how it would look. This will be the last time I do this because I'm starting to damage the parts. I also need to make a better mannequin, possibly doing a pose...IDK? Also if you look in the background you will see a sneak peak at my Boba Fett build which is also made from cardboard. I'll post some of that progress later.

Outstanding!
Are you using temples to trace and cut the cardboard or are you doing it by eye ( try and error ) tailors way?

Back to the build!

This one started off pretty easy but gave me a little trouble towards the end. Lots of tape to keep it in position and hot glued the seams like crazy! Not the prettiest build but its a good foundation. I plan on doing a lot of clean up and tweaking during the bondo phase. Two more pieces and off to resin and fiberglass!
