Beats me, I was unaware of any other versions floating around. I figure whichever version it's going to look better than the resin one I've got in the parts box though. Let you know when I get it (after I pull the arrows out of my posterior).

I ordered 2 of the end caps and a grip. The caps are the fabricated C1 version end receiver caps. They look brand new and I don't see any wear on the parkernized or whatever-oxide finish they have. If you want them for a ROTJ E-11, its probably worth it.

The grip is a C1 grip, The only differnce between it and the regular L2A3 sterling grip is on the right side it doesn't have the small square smooth box on the right side of the grip above the captive trigger assembly locating pin. It is a nice clean grip, only ding is on the front bottom looks like it may have hit the floor once (it has a small flat spot), and the mold lines around the outside of the grip are still prominent and not worn down. I don't even see any wear/rub marks in the sides of the holes for where the captive trigger assembly locating pin goes through or in the bottom grip screw cap hole. I'm thinking this one may have been parts surplus and never been installed... DEFINITELY worth the 10 bucks & change on the grip (at least the one I got sent).

Got my grip, nice stuff. Lack of serial number doesn't really bother me. The cap is a bit different I guess, I'll have to think about that part. It would speed up the process though. Thanks for posting the pics, cheech.
