We are new to building costumes so do not be to bruttle... We started with the paper file for the bio-helmet. I'm biulding two costumes one for me and one for my son. So when I finished with the first bio-helmet I made a latex mold of it to make another one. so the mold came out pretty good. used fiberglass resin and cloth to make the second bio-helmet.

Looks like a good start.  Good to see a latex mold every once and a while too.  Glad that came out for you so well.

The gold bio is coming across really strong.  I'd think hitting it up with more(darker) black in a wash would break it up and make the edges pop more.... giving it a little more depth.  Sponging some black on could also help break up the solid gold feel.   I did my Mask of Anubis solid gold at first and it didn't appeal to me at all.  I ended up with a gold/metallic black scheme.

One thing I've found out over the years is that if you're going for how you look in pics, you should take a lot of pics of your build as you go.  Then adjust for the pictures.  For me it was being stronger with the contrasting and bolder with the weathering.  That was weird to me at first but makes more sense after you see pictures coming out really good.
